Meet our Founder Karla Lynn Williams


Known as "The Proposal Doctor", Karla has an impressive background that includes the following accomplishments and experiences.

  • 15+ years experience writing proposals for contracts and grants in response to private and public organizations for a variety of services and products
  • Written numerous winning proposals that have resulted in over $100M in contract awards
  • Create proposal response road map and compliance matrices
  • Manage proposal process throughout the organization
  • Coordinate with all SMEs to gather, edit and incorporate content per RFP specifications and contract terms and conditions
  • Ensure that all critical response dates are met
  • Coordinate cost/pricing activities
  • Respond to request for additional information, proposal clarifications and BAFO
  • Coordinate with marketing, sales, accounting, finance and technical experts
  • Speaker and trainer on Government contracting and proposal development
  • Former government contracts professional
  • Instructor for the government teaching small businesses how to do business with the government

Karla was the founder and principal of FOCUS AMC, a woman-owned, minority, small business.  She has her BA in Public Administration from Augustana College.
